Our discussions were so interesting and encouraging, and once again I just felt thankful that God has put us in a place where we are continually so challenged and inspired by the godly people around us.

Homeschooling, Muizen Mamas
This morning I had my mom's group, which I love so very much! We had a guest speaker, a YWAM mom originally from England and New Zealand, who homeschools her three sons. She answered our questions about homeschooling, educating our children, etc. She said some really encouraging things, like that whenever she gets worried about her children's education and that she's going to mess something up, it's because she isn't looking from God's perspective. The verse that led her to homeschool was one in Isaiah where God says He will teach your sons. It is encouraging to know that it is God who will do the teaching if we just seek the way He's called each of us to train up our children, whether homeschooling or not. She said she doesn't homeschool in order to "overprotect" her children, but to train them in the unique way God has formed each one.
