Chapter Five...Portait of a Foolish Woman

This chapter describes characteristics of a foolish woman, drawn from Proverbs 7. DeMoss speaks about how even women in the church can have these characteristics. Scary stuff!

Here's my favorite quote:

In contrast to the wise woman, the foolish woman is not content to be a keeper at home. She is not satisfied where God has put her. One of the things the feminist movement has done so successfully is to stir up discontent in women with being homemakers and to convince them that other pursuits can increase their sense of self-worth...

It's ok to be happy being in the home. In fact its right! But culture and the church have so ingrained in us otherwise, we actually feel guilty when we want to be home and care for our family!
What do you think?
